Mojee

The Mojee is a rare hunting dog associated with communities in south-western China, recorded in Chinese breed surveys and little described elsewhere.

History

It is a regional working type rather than a standardised breed, kept for hunting and guarding by rural households. Documentation outside China is minimal, and what exists comes from breed surveys rather than from any studbook.

Temperament

It is reported as alert and hardy, with the self-reliance expected of a village hunting dog.
