Grand Anglo-Français Blanc Et Orange

The Grand Anglo-Français Blanc et Orange is the orange-marked large French-English pack hound, and much the rarest of its group.

History

It belongs to the family of deliberate French-English crosses maintained for pack hunting of large game, distinguished from its relatives by colour. Numbers are small even in France and it is essentially unknown as a household dog anywhere.

Temperament

The breed is known for being even-tempered and gregarious, at home in a large pack and thoroughly committed once on a scent.

Care and training

It needs a very great deal of exercise and secure ground, and it belongs with a pack rather than in a house. The short coat needs little.

Health
