Rottweiler

The Rottweiler is a German mastiff-type breed named for the town of Rottweil, where its job — Rottweiler Metzgerhund, the butchers' dog — was to drive cattle and haul carts of meat to market until railways took that work away in the nineteenth century. It is now kept for herding, guarding and companionship.
